Last Time Out
Despite a two-touchdown performance from sophomore WR Ray Bolden, the Stony Brook football team fell to visiting Towson 21-14 on Saturday night in front of a record crowd of 12,177 fans at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium in a CAA Football game. Towson spoiled the Seawolves’ Homecoming by scoring the game-winning touchdown with less than a minute remaining in the fourth quarter.  

Opponent
Maine (2-4, 2-1 CAA) has won two of the three CAA Footbal games this season with a home win over Rhode Island and a victory at Albany. The Black Bears have dropped all three non-conference games, including at FBS foes Boston College and Tulane. Maine is led by RB Nigel Beckford with 82 carries, 343 yards and three touchdowns. WR Micah Wright has 34 receptions for 481 yards and three scores.

The Series
This will be the fifth meeting between the two CAA Football foes. The schools have split the previous four meetings with the home team claiming each game. Stony Brook won the last meeting, 19-7, in LaValle Stadium on Oct. 11 last season.
