Opponent: Western Kentucky enters Saturday's game with a 1-1 record, recording a victory over Campbellsville and a loss to Belmont.  Five guys are averaging double figures for the Hilltoppers, including Frederick Edmond, who leads the team with 18.0 points per game.  Justin Johnson is averaging a double-double with 12.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game.  Western Kentucky is averaging 91 points per game, but has given up 83.5 in the first two games.  

Series: Stony Brook is 1-0 against Western Kentucky, having won 71-61 as part of last year's Preseason NIT.  Carson Puriefoy led all scorers with 21 points and Jameel Warney tallied 17 points and 15 rebounds.  The Hilltoppers opened the game with an 11-1 lead, but the Seawolves outscored them 38-18 the rest of the half.
