Stony Brook travels to face Northeastern Saturday afternoon

Tip-Off: The Stony Brook men's basketball team will travel to face former America East Conference foe Northeastern Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m.  Josh Caray will broadcast the action on WHLI 1100 AM.

Opponent: Northeastern is 6-3 after back-to-back losses to Detroit (76-73) and Western Michigan (87-86).  David Walker had a career-high 31 points against the Broncos and ranks 14th in the country with 22.1 points per game.  Walker became the first player in school history since Jose Juan Barea (2004-05) to have multiple 30-point games in a season.  Quincy Ford (16.2) and Zach Stahl (13.0) have been strong for the Huskies. 

Series: Northeastern is 6-5 all-time against Stony Brook, with nine of the 11 contests coming as part of America East Conference play.  The Seawolves are 2-0 against Northeastern since the Huskies have been in the CAA.

Record Breaking: Jameel Warney needs eight points to becoming Stony Brook's all-time leading scorer at the Division I level.  Warney, who has 1,602 career points, needs eight to break Bryan Dougher's program record (1,610).
