McCombs Reaction

"We received contributions from many players tonight in different ways," said head coach Caroline McCombs. "Our defense played very well and we were able to knock down some outside shots."

Turning Point

However, Cornell's fullcourt pressure ignited an 8-0 run to open the quarter and cut the Stony Brook lead to six points. Freshman Ogechi Anyagaligbo (Miami, Fla.) answered with one of her six buckets to end the run, which was followed by a three-pointer from junior Kori Bayne-Walker (Rochester, N.Y.)
