Quotes . . .
Jim Nagle
"I thought it was a good game. It was really good to pull away from a quality team like Fairfield, a 12-win team last year so it's a really important win for us. The guys have been working really hard and it's nice to come out on the right side today and get a big win."
"I thought the defense did a great job today. They helped one another. Ben Randall played well. Their two attackmen, #4 and #1 are two of the better dodgers and are upperclassmen, and Ben being a freshman did an outstanding job and then we helped to him too so it was a combination of Ben playing great and a team effort."
Chris Hughes
"I think it is real important for us. Like coach said earlier, we just kept working hard. We have been preaching since the fall to keep working hard no matter what happens so when they scored a goal to get within one, we weren't nervous or hesitant because we knew what we had been working towards."
Mike Rooney
"On offense we work on moving the ball a lot. We found some openings. Some were in transition. One was in transition where Brody got upfield some other things where other guys brought the ball down and i just passed it to somebody else for a shot."
