Quotes . . .
Jim Nagle
"Good first game. I want to give a game ball to our grounds crew. They did a terrific job all preseason of allowing us the opportunity to practice and play. Being able to get out there with the field cleared is a huge advantage. Sometimes you don't know what to expect with the first game so in evaluating that, I really liked our effort today."
Mike Rooney
"It was good to get out there against another team after scrimmaging Villanova last week. We practice hard and harped on not making the same mistakes we made during last week's scrimmage. It was nice to play and have it count."
Brody Eastwood
"With our team, winning is all that matters. I'm not sure how many different guys scored, but sharing the ball is key with this team. We did a good job of focusing on our effort."
Challen Rogers
"I really liked that we had so many different guys scored. It shows each guy's ability to score if another guy draws a slide. We'll enjoy this victory and start preparing for St. John's."
