STONY BROOK, N.Y. -- Stony Brook head football coach Chuck Priore has announced the addition of defensive back Marquise Dixon to the roster for the 2015 season as a graduate student.

Dixon, a native of Opa Locka, Florida, and a graduate of Monsignor Pace High School, spent his undergraduate collegiate career at the University of Oregon were he received his degree in social sciences after the winter academic quarter.

As a Duck, Dixon played in 16 games over the past three seasons after taking a redshirt as a freshman in 2011. The 5-11, 200-pound safety collected 27 tackles, one interception and forced one fumble during his time at Oregon.
