Aug. 15, 2015

STONY BROOK, N.Y. – Stony Brook football concluded the second week of fall camp with a scrimmage at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium on Saturday morning.

Head coach Chuck Priore and the Seawolves will have one more week of camp that will come to a close with the third and final scrimmage of the fall on Friday at 10 a.m. in LaValle Stadium.

“We’ve made progress each day,” Priore said. “We are really on the right track. I’m overall pleased with the two good weeks.”

Stony Brook will be off of practice on Sunday before resuming with the final two-a-day on Monday. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday’s practices will each begin at 9:15 a.m. before Friday’s scrimmage.

The opening game of the season is September 3 when the Seawolves visit Toledo at 7 p.m. The home opener is the following weekend, September 12, when Stony Brook hosts Central Connecticut at 6 p.m. at LaValle Stadium.
