Despite poor weather the debut of "Seawolves Town", Stony Brook's new prime tailgating experience outside of Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium, was a success prior to the football team's season-opening victory over Central Connecticut State.
"Seawolves Town" was full of energy starting when it opened six hours prior to kickoff of the SBU vs. CCSU game. Fans that purchased spots in "Seawolves Town" were creative with their tailgating spots and also enjoyed music provided by 94.3 The Shark, inflatables and the new tradition of "Wolfie Walk" when the Stony Brook football team walks through "Seawolves Town" 90 minutes before the game.
Fans are encouraged to get to their spots early this Saturday to enjoy the festivities prior to the Seawolves taking on 13th-ranked New Hampshire in an early season Colonial Athletic Association match-up. This week is also Country Music Night and will feature country music along with a mechanical bull.
