Albany, N.Y. - The Stony Brook women's basketball team (13-6, 5-1) saw its nine-game win streak snapped on Thursday night in a 73-54 loss at Albany (15-3, 6-0 AE).
Turning Point
The Seawolves and Great Danes played a back-and-forth first quarter, which ended with Albany leading 12-11. The Great Danes controlled the second quarter, however, outscoring the Seawolves 26-12 to take a 38-23 lead into half. Freshman Ogechi Anyagaligbo (Miami, Fla.), who finished with 14 points, was sidelined most of the second quarter with three fouls, allowing Albany to take advantage on the glass.

- Outside of the second quarter, the Seawolves were only outscored 47-42. Stony Brook won the fourth quarter 16-15.
