Tip-Off: The Stony Brook men's basketball team will look to earn a Division I-program record with its 11th straight victory Friday night against Albany.  Eamon McAnaney and Rebecca Lobo will broadcast the action on ESPNU.  Josh Caray and Curt Hylton will have the call on WHLI 1370 AM.

Opponent: Albany had its seven-game winning streak snapped by Maine, but the Great Danes rebounded to beat Binghamton, 80-59, Monday night.  Evan Singletary, the team's high scorer at 12.8 ppg, tied a career-high with 21 points against the Bearcats.  Peter Hooley is averaging 12.5 points. Albany ranks second in free throws made with 386.

Series: Since 1999-00 when Stony Brook and Albany joined Division I, the Seawolves lead the series 20-18.  The two teams have met three times in each of the last six seasons.

Last Time Out: The Stony Brook men's basketball team tied a Division I-program record with its 10th straight victory in Monday's 77-43 win over Hartford at the Chase Arena.

Senior Rayshaun McGrew (Chicago, Ill.) led all scorers with 16 points. Senior Jameel Warney (Plainfield, N.J.) and junior Lucas Woodhouse (Greenlawn, N.Y.) had 13 points apiece and senior Carson Puriefoy (Wenonah, N.J.) added 11.

Stony Brook (14-4, 5-0 America East) is off to its best 18-game start in the program's Division I history.

Evan Cooper had 10 points off the bench for Hartford (6-13, 1-3).
