2016 All-Conference Team
RICHMOND, VA. – Nine members of the Stony Brook football team earned CAA Football All-Conference honors headlined by first team selection
Timon Parris on the offensive line, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
CAA Football's All-Conference awards are voted on by the league's 12 head coaches.

Parris, a junior from Floral Park, N.Y., anchored the Seawolves offensive line as the left tackle. Stony Brook rushed for 152.3 yards per game and scored 17 touchdowns behind the offensive line. Parris, who has started all 33 games of his Stony Brook career, earned second team honors a year ago
Bolden, a junior from Euless, Texas, a first team all-conference selection in 2015, led the Seawolves in 2016 with 37 receptions for 536 yards and a touchdown. His score helped Stony Brook upset of second-ranked Richmond back in September.
Camara, a junior from Bay Shore, N.Y., collected 24 total tackles for the Seawolves on the defensive line with 2.5 tackles for a loss and 1.0 sack.
Lawless, a sophomore from Moorestown, N.J., recorded 78 total tackles with 45 solo stops. He also had 9.0 tackles for a loss and a forced fumble. He posted a career-high 11 stops against both Sacred Heart and Maine.
Beverette, a junior from Lakewood, N.J., led Stony Brook with 98 total tackles, the third most in the conference. He also posted 9.0 tackles for a loss, 4.5 sacks, forced four fumbles and intercepted four passes, including a pair of picks last week at UAlbany. Beverette had three games with over 10 tackles, including a career-best 15 stops against Maine.
Woods, a senior from Neptune, N.J., finished his final season with a career-best 73 tackles, 9.5 tackles for a loss, 3.0 sacks and a pair of interceptions. He was twice named the CAA Football Defensive Player of the Week, including following the Seawolves' win over No. 19 North Dakota when he collected 11 tackles, four tackles for a loss and two sacks. He also claimed the honor in Stony Brook's win at Towson when he recorded 10 tackles, forced a fumble and pulled down a key interception.
Bedell, a junior from Mastic Beach, N.Y., led Stony Brook's offensive backfield with 698 yards and 10 touchdowns on 152 carries. He also four 100-yard games, including 100 yards and four touchdowns in the win over second ranked Richmond. Bedell also gained 108 yards against Rhode Island, had 120 yards and two scores at Delaware and 125 yards and two touchdowns at Towson.
Haggart, a junior from Sayville, N.Y., recorded 38 total tackles, had four sacks and the third most tackles for loss in the conference with 13.5. He was named the CAA Football Defensive Player of the Week for his effort in the win at Delaware when he had a career-best day with 11 tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss, three sacks and three forced fumbles.
Peart, a junior from Brooklyn, N.Y., posted 42 total tackles with 33 solo stops to earn his first conference accolade of his career.
