Tip-Off: The Stony Brook men's basketball team will look to extend the nation's longest active winning streak to 18 games Saturday afternoon vs. New Hampshire.  Josh Caray and Curt Hylton will broadcast the action on WHLI 1100 AM.

Opponent: New Hampshire is coming off a 69-68 win over Albany Thursday, clinching a home playoff game for a second straight year.  The Wildcats hit 10 threes, snapping a four-game losing against the Great Danes.  Tanner Leissner, who scored 20 points in the win over Albany, leads New Hampshire in scoring at 15.8 points per game.  Jaleen Smith, who's averaging 13 ppg, added 16 points Thursday.

Series: New Hampshire leads the all-time series, 16-15, but Stony Brook has won nine of the last 11. The Seawolves won the previous meeting, 80-50, in Durham on January 16.  Junior Ahmad Walker led all scorers with 19 points as Stony Brook scored 40 points apiece in each half.

Last Time Out: Senior Jameel Warney (Plainfield, N.J.) led all scorers with 22 points as the Stony Brook men's basketball team extended the nation's longest active winning streak to 17 games with a 75-52 win over UMBC Thursday at RAC Arena.

Warney shot 9 of 12 from the field and made four free throws to record his 13th 20-point game of the season.

Junior Ahmad Walker (Port Washington, N.Y.) finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.

Senior Carson Puriefoy (Wenonah, N.J.) scored 10 of his 13 points in the second half.

Senior Rayshaun McGrew (Chicago, N.Y.) had 12 points, including a 4-for-4 effort from the free throw line.

Stony Brook (21-4, 12-0 America East) outrebounded UMBC, 41-32.

Jairus Lyles, who was averaging 25.4 points entering tonight's game, had 13 points for UMBC (6-20, 2-9). He was 3 of 17 from the field.
