Stony Brook, N.Y. - The No. 8/7 Stony Brook women’s lacrosse team won its eighth-consecutive game with an 11-4 victory over America East foe New Hampshire Saturday afternoon at LaValle Stadium. With the win, the Seawolves improve to 10-3 and 4-0 in America East play, while the Wildcats fall to 6-8 and 3-1 in conference action.

Junior Courtney Murphy (Shirley, N.Y.) tallied four goals to increase her Division I-leading total on the season to 62. Sophomore Kylie Ohlmiller (Islip, N.Y.) added three goals and two assists, while junior Kristin Yevoli (Massapequa, N.Y.) added a goal, an assist, two ground balls, two caused turnovers and two caused turnovers.

Turning Point
The game was tied 2-2 in the final minutes of the first half before goals by Yevoli and Ohlmiller gave the Seawolves a 4-2 lead at the half. Stony Brook outscored New Hampshire 7-2 in the second half for the seven-goal victory.

By the Numbers
- Freshman Anna Tesoriero (Huntington, N.Y.) tallied six saves on 10 shots on goal.
- Sophomore Samantha DiSalvo (Lynbrook, N.Y.), junior Dorrien Van Dyke (Northport, N.Y.) and freshman Kasey Mitchell (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) added goals for the Seawolves. DiSalvo also chipped in three ground balls. Van Dyke scored for the 14th consecutive game dating back to last season.
- Senior Alyssa Fleming (Shoreham, N.Y.) recorded a caused turnover for the 12th consecutive game.
- Freshman Keri McCarthy (Hauppauge, N.Y.) tallied four draw controls to give her 40 for the year and 28 over her last four games.

Notes
- The Seawolves have allowed just 3.67 goals/game over their last three games.
- Stony Brook improves to 44-5 at LaValle Stadium during Coach Spallina’s tenure.
- The Seawolves have now gone 22 straight games against America East competition without allowing a double-digit goal total.
- Stony Brook is now 53-1 against unranked teams since the start of 2013.
- Murphy will enter Sunday’s game vs. Johns Hopkins six goals shy of becoming the program’s first 200-goal scorer.
- Van Dyke moved into a tie for fifth place on the program’s all-time scoring list with her 121st career goal, matching Michelle Rubino ’15 and Danielle Werner ’06.
