Stony Brook, N.Y. - The Stony Brook women's soccer team (0-2-1) will undergo a stretch of three road games in five days this week when it travels to Yale, Fairfield and Brown.

The Bulldogs enter Wednesday's contest with a 2-0 record, notching wins over Bryant (2-1) and Sacred Heart (4-0). The forward tandem of sophomore Michelle Alozie and freshman Aerial Chavarin has been a handful. Alozie lead the team with two goals and an assist, while Chavarin has potted a goal and dished out two assists. The Yale defense has allowed just nine shots through its first two games.

After opening the season with losses in California to UC Irvine (4-2) and Long Beach State (4-0), the Stags went 1-1 in the Yale Classic over the weekend, defeating Sacred Heart (2-0) and losing to Bryant (1-0). The Bears recorded an impressive 3-0 win in their opener vs. Rhode Island. Carly Gould led the way with a goal and two assists and Celia Story and Maclaine Lehan added goals.

This week will serve as an opportunity for the Seawolves to get over their road woes. Stony Brook is looking for its first road win since 2013, a streak that stretches 17 games. Stony Brook has enjoyed a .643 winning pct. at home (11-5-5) over that period of time.

Stony Brook is familiar with two of its three opponents this week having faced Yale and Fairfield last season; both results ended in a tie.
