Scouting the Catamounts
Vermont has dropped five out of its last six after a 64-53 loss at Albany Thursday. The Catamounts' two conference wins have come over Maine and UMass Lowell.
Sydney Smith leads Vermont with 11.8 points per game and tallied 11 points and nine rebounds Thursday. The Catamounts are last in the America East with a .371 field-goal percentage, but first in the conference with a .363 field-goal percentage defense.

Saturday's meeting will be the 32nd since the Seawolves joined the America East. Vermont holds a 17-14 advantage in the series, but Stony Brook has taken five of the last six meetings and seven of the last 10.
Scognamiglio with Double-Double at UMBC
Senior Christa Scognamiglio had 17 points and 10 rebounds, but the Seawolves fell 67-61 at UMBC Wednesday. Four Seawolves were in double figures in scoring in the game.

Bayne-Walker Breaks Program Assist Record; Aims for 1,000-Point Club
Senior Kori Bayne-Walker tallied six assists in the Jan. 16 win over UMass Lowell to break the all-time program record. Her fourth assist of the day - a second-quarter dish to Elizabeth Manner - passed Mykeema Ford with the 418th of her career. Bayne-Walker enters Saturday with 433 career assists.

Bayne-Walker is also the Seawolves' active scoring leader with 913 points.

Senior Christa Scognamiglio tallied a career-high seven steals in the Jan. 16 win over UMass Lowell - the highest total by an America East player this season.
Start Me Up
Sophomore Davion Wingate is averaging 13.4 points per game in 13 contests since joining the starting lineup for the Dec. 11 win at Central Connecticut.
Wingate has been in double figures in six of those games, which includes 20-point performances at the Florida Sunshine Classic against Florida A&M and Indiana and again Thursday at Hartford.
Wingate is the Seawolves' leading scorer at 11.3 points per game on the year.
Three Stats on Christa's Threes
Senior Christa Scognamiglio passed Kelly Watson (2003-07) Jan. 7 for third in program history with 124 made three-pointers.
Scognamiglio's six threes at Central Connecticut (Dec. 11) were tied for the fourth-most in a single-game in program history, and the most since Mykeema Ford hit a program-record seven three-pointers at Boston University, Jan. 28, 2004.
Scognamiglio's 131 three-pointers rank third behind Ford, who hit 181 from 2003-07 and Donna Fennessy, who made 170 from 1994-98.
