Christa Scognamiglio (Orangeburg, N.Y.) added a career-high 22 in Stony Brook's 74-59 win at Binghamton Saturday evening at the Events Center. With the victory, the Seawolves improve to 11-16 and 4-10 in the America East, while the Bearcats drop to 12-15 and 7-7 in conference play.

"We talked [at halftime] about our energy, our communication and our fight. We really tried to make sure we didn't get any easy baskets in the second half, but we also made a commitment to our offense and we were able to knock down those shots."
Turning Point
The Seawolves trailed 35-27 at the half before the Seawolves had a stellar second half from beyond the arc. Stony Brook went 8-for-8 from three-point range in the second half and outscored Binghamton 47-24 en route to the 15-point victory.
By the Numbers
- Bayne-Walker tallied 24 points and nine assists in the victory while shooting 8-of-15 from the floor.
- Scognamiglio scored a career-high 22 points on 7-of-14 from the floor and 6-of-7 from three while adding five rebounds, three steals and two assists.

Davion Wingate (Atlanta, Ga.) hit three trifectas in a 13-point performance.

Aaliyah Worley (Philadelphia, Pa.) scored six points and added a team-high six rebounds.
