Coach Spallina's Take
"We needed this. I couldn't be more proud of our group. Tonight's a byproduct of our preparation… the kids were so locked in. This was important tonight. We needed that big top-10 win and we got that. I couldn't be more proud of our kids.
"I have the utmost respect for USC. They have great players, a tremendous coaching staff and everything that comes with it. They handled us last year. When we went through the scout and went through the game plan, it had our kids' attention because we went through such a difficult game out there last year. "
