STONY BROOK, N.Y. - The No. 4 Stony Brook women's lacrosse team plays two games in as many days this weekend with a Friday night game at Hofstra and a Saturday afternoon contest against UMass Lowell.

Saturday's game will be Senior Day at LaValle Stadium, as Stony Brook will honor seven members of the 2017 Seawolves - Nichole Doran, Ashley Gomes, Alyssa Guido, Sam Jaffe, Dorrien Van Dyke, Jessica Volpe and Kristin Yevoli.

Scouting the Pride
Hofstra enters its season finale at 8-7 and finished CAA play at 2-4. The Pride is 2-1 against common opponents with victories over New Hampshire and Towson and a loss to Johns Hopkins.

The Hofstra attack has been led by freshman Alyssa Parrella, who paces all NCAA freshmen with 76 points on 47 goals and 29 assists. Becky Conto and Drew Shapiro have also recorded 30-goal seasons.

Series History vs. Hofstra
Friday is the ninth all-time meeting between the programs, with Hofstra holding a 5-3 advantage. The Seawolves and Pride resumed their annual matchup in 2015, as Stony Brook has won both meetings in the Spallina era. Courtney Murphy (8) and Dorrien Van Dyke (5) combined for 13 goals in the 2016 matchup, a 16-5 Seawolves victory at LaValle Stadium.

Scouting the River Hawks
UMass Lowell will play its final game of 2017 coming off a historic win last weekend. The River Hawks picked up their first America East victory Sunday with a 14-8 Senior Day win over Vermont. After winning just one game in its first two years as a program, UMass Lowell has tallied seven victories in 2017.

Courtney Barrett ranks second in the America East in goals-against average at 10.34, while Jane Dudley has tallied a team-high 33 points.

Series History vs. UMass Lowell
Stony Brook has taken both meetings in the series history by a combined 45-3 margin. Courtney Murphy had a career-high nine goals in last year's meeting at Wicked Blue Field, a 23-2 Stony Brook victory.

Last Time Out: Stony Brook 19, UMBC 8
Junior Kylie Ohlmiller tallied four goals and five assists, while junior Emma Schait recorded a career-high six goals in a 19-8 win at UMBC Saturday.

Seawolves Lead Five National Stat Categories
The Seawolves rank first in assists per game (10.40) and scoring margin (8.40) while featuring the nation's leader in assists (Kylie Ohlmiller, 58), points (Kylie Ohlmiller, 112) and goals-against average (Anna Tesoriero, 7.27).

Oh-My-Miller
Junior Kylie Ohlmiller leads all active Division I players with 5.16 career points/game. Ohlmiller leads the nation in 2017 in points (112), points per game (7.46), assists (58) and assists per game (3.87).

Ohlmiller broke the America East career points record in Saturday's win at UMBC, passing Sarah Dalton with 289 career points in just 56 games.

KO, Tesoriero Collect Weekly Honors
Junior Kylie Ohlmiller and sophomore Anna Tesoriero earned America East weekly honors Monday, as Ohlmiller was named Offensive Player of the Week and Tesoriero was chosen as Defensive Player of the Week.

Tesoriero was also honored with national Defensive Player of the Week honors by the IWLCA.

There's No Place Like Home
The Seawolves have been dominant at LaValle Stadium over the last six seasons, posting a 54-5 record at home (a .915 winning percentage).

All I Do Is Win
The Seawolves have posted an .856 winning percentage since the beginning of the 2013 season, which ranks third nationally. Stony Brook's 14 losses over that stretch are the third fewest among programs which have fielded a team all five years.

Raising The Bar
The Seawolves have 97 wins since Joe Spallina took over as head coach in 2012. Stony Brook had 63 wins in its first nine years before Spallina's arrival.

Next Up: New Hampshire (AE Semifinals)
