STONY BROOK, N.Y. - The Stony Brook women's lacrosse team looks to take down the No. 1 overall seed and earn a spot in the Final Four when the eighth-seeded Seawolves travel to Maryland Saturday.
Scouting the Terrapins
Maryland is the nation's lone remaining unbeaten team with a 20-0 record on the year. The Terrapins have 10 wins this season over ranked opponents and a 12-0 mark at home.
Megan Whittle leads Maryland with 65 goals and 78 points, while Tewaaraton finalist Zoe Stukenberg has 71 points. Tewaaraton finalist Nadine Hadnagy is tied for the team lead with 24 caused turnovers.
Series History vs. Maryland
The Seawolves and Terrapins meet Saturday for the fifth time in program history and first time since the NCAA Second Round in 2013. Maryland has taken all four meetings to this point.

Kylie Ohlmiller, a Tewaaraton finalist, broke the DIvision I single-season points record in the May 7 win over Bryant, surpassing the mark of 148 set by Maryland's Jen Adams in 2001. Ohlmiller enters Saturday needing two assists to break the single-season mark of 83 set by Northwestern's Hannah Nielsen in 2009.
Ohlmiller leads all active Division I players with 5.39 career points/game. Ohlmiller leads the nation in 2017 in points (157), points per game (7.48), assists (82) and assists per game (3.90).

Stony Brook placed four players on the IWLCA All-American lists Wednesday. Juniors

Sophomore
Keri McCarthy set the program single-game (13) and single-season (97) draw control records in the May 12 win over Bryant. McCarthy has 106 draw controls on the year.
