STONY BROOK, N.Y. - For the sixth-straight year, the No. 4 Stony Brook women's lacrosse team squares off with rival Albany for the America East title Sunday at LaValle Stadium.

Scouting the Great Danes
Albany is 12-4 on the year after Friday's 14-13 semifinal win over UMBC. The Great Danes are receiving votes in the IWLCA poll and No. 17 in the Inside Lacrosse rankings.

The Great Danes are led by Tewaaraton nominee Sarah Martin, who joins the Seawolves' Kylie Ohlmiller as the only Division I players with 100 points on the year. Martin leads the Great Danes in goals (59), draw controls (93), caused turnovers (14) and is tied for the team lead in assists (41).

Series History vs. Albany
Albany is Stony Brook's most frequent opponent in program history, as Sunday marks the 22nd meeting between the teams in Stony Brook's 15 years as a Division I program. Stony Brook has taken the last nine meetings, including an 18-11 victory April 2 and 10-9 win in last year's AE title game.

Last Time Out: Stony Brook 20, New Hampshire 3
Junior Kylie Ohlmiller had an America East tournament-game record seven assists and junior Samantha DiSalvo had a career-high eight points as Stony Brook downed New Hampshire 20-3 Friday in the America East semifinals.

Seawolves Lead Six National Stat Categories
The Seawolves lead the nation in scoring defense (6.67), scoring margin (9.67) and assists per game (10.83) while featuring the nation's leader in assists (Kylie Ohlmiller, 74), points (Kylie Ohlmiller, 138) and goals-against average (Anna Tesoriero, 6.67).

Oh-My-Miller
Junior Kylie Ohlmiller leads all active Division I players with 5.34 career points/game. Ohlmiller leads the nation in 2017 in points (138), points per game (7.67), assists (74) and assists per game (4.11).

Ohlmiller became the first player in America East history to 300 career points in the April 29 win at Hofstra and is also the conference's all-time leader in assists with 165 entering the weekend.

Tesoriero, TO Collect Weekly Honors
Sophomore Anna Tesoriero and freshman Taryn Ohlmiller earned America East weekly honors Monday, as Tesoriero was chosen as Defensive Player of the Week and Ohlmiller was selected as Rookie of the Week.

There's No Place Like Home
The Seawolves have been dominant at LaValle Stadium over the last six seasons, posting a 56-5 record at home (a .918 winning percentage).

All I Do Is Win
The Seawolves have recorded an .860 winning percentage since the beginning of the 2013 season, which ranks third nationally. Stony Brook's 14 losses over that stretch are the third fewest among programs which have fielded a team all five years.

Raising The Bar
Friday's victory was Joe Spallina's 100th as head coach of the Seawolves. Stony Brook had 63 wins in its first nine years before Spallina's arrival.

She's a Freshman... And She's a Freshman, Too
The Seawolves' freshmen have combined for 29.3-percent of Stony Brook's goals. Taryn Ohlmiller (52) and Ally Kennedy (33) have tallied 85 of the goals while Erica Shea scored her first career goal Friday.
