STONY BROOK, N.Y. -- The Stony Brook men's lacrosse team takes in under the lights on Friday when they welcome America East Conference for Binghamton to Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium for a 7 p.m. faceoff.
The Seawolves (4-4, 1-1 AE) are coming off a 14-7 victory at home last week over UMBC. The Bearcats (0-7, 0-1 AE) fell at home to UAlbany last Saturday.
SERIES INFO
• This will mark the 20th meeting between the two conference foes.
• Stony Brook owns a 13-6 series lead and have won three of the last four.
• The Seawolves also lead 6-3 in games played at Stony Brook.
LAST TIME AGAINST BINGHAMTON
• Stony Brook dominated Binghamton in the regular season finale in 2018, topping the Bearcats 15-9 at the Bearcats Sports Complex.
• The victory secured the Seawolves' fourth regular season title since joining the league for the 2002 season.

SEAWOLVES NOTES
• Stony Brook, the co-regular season America East Conference champions in 2018, were slated second in the preseason conference poll selected by the coaches. The Seawolves received three first-place votes and 32 points to fall just behind UAlbany's 33 points and three first-place votes.
• Junior
Tom Haun leads the Seawolves with 17 goals through the first eight games of the season. His first of a career-best five goals in the win at Hofstra was the 50th of his career.
• Haun earned the America East Offensive Player of the Week on March 4 following his week with six goals and two assists that included his five-goal night at Hofstra.

Michael Bollinger was named the America East Defender of the Week on Feb. 25 after he recorded 12 saves in the win at Brown. He also stopped nine Hofstra shots.

Chris Pickel Jr. scored the game-winning goal with 16 seconds remaining to defeated Bryant and was named the America East Offensive Player of the Week on March 11. He tallied a total of five goals during that week.

Layton Harrell netted a career-best three goals for his first hat trick in the win over UMBC to earn the America East Rookie of the Week honor on March 23.

SCOUTING BINGHAMTON
• The Bearcats are 0-7 overall and 0-1 in America East play after falling to UAlbany at home last Saturday.
• 10 different players have scored at least a goal for Binghamton and six players have netted at least five goals.

The Seawolves will play a pair of non-conference games next week beginning with a Tuesday tilt at St. John's in Queens at 3 p.m. Stony Brook then returns to LaValle Stadium to host Princeton at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
