BOSTON, MASS. – The Stony Brook men's track and field team finished up their indoor season at the IC4A Championships on Sunday, March 3rd. The team finished 15th
with 16 points. The day was highlighted by
Luke Coulter (Jamesport, N.Y.) finishing second in the 1000m with a time of 2:22.53, which is a new school record.
COACH RONAN'S THOUGHTS
"We may not have had a big number competing today, but the group we had produced several quality performances, none more impressive than Luke's run in the 1000m, just beaten on the line by .01 of second. He claimed his second school record of the season, but this one has moved him on to a new level as a competitor. Vann ran an excellent race in the 3000m, his attempt to take the title just came up short but his sub 8.10 time is a new personal best for the distance," said head coach
Andy Ronan.
