BOSTON -- Junior attacker
Tom Haun (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) was named America East Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season, as announced by the league office on Monday.
The award comes after Haun led the Seawolves to a road victory over conference-foe UMass Lowell on Saturday night. The junior tallied six points after totaling four goals and two assists in the 15-12 win. After the River Hawks tied the game at 12 with five minutes remaining, Haun scored two of the game's final three goals to help secure the victory.
This is Haun's fourth career conference honor. He joins teammates
Layton Harrell (Rookie of the Week, 3/24),
Chris Pickel Jr. (Offensive Player of the Week, 3/11) and
Michael Bollinger (Defensive Player of the Week, 2/29) in receiving weekly awards this season. He was previously named Offensive Player of the Week on March 4 and April 1.
The Seawolves, who sit in second in the America East, travel to Burlington to take on first-place Vermont on Saturday, April 20 at 12 P.M.
