STONY BROOK, N.Y. - The top-seeded Stony Brook men's lacrosse team (9-5, 5-1 AE) is set to open postseason play against UMBC on Thursday, May 2 at 7 P.M. from LaValle Stadium. It will be the first time since 2012 that the America East Men's Lacrosse Tournament takes place in Stony Brook.

- Junior Michael Bollinger (Holbrook, N.Y.) has played most of the minutes in goal for Stony Brook, owning a 10.67 GAA, second-best in the conference.
Last Time Out
- The Seawolves are coming off a 12-10 victory over UAlbany last Friday night.
- Stony Brook jumped out to an early 6-2 lead after the first quarter in the rain. UAlbany chipped away in the second quarter and the Seawolves took a 10-5 lead into halftime.
- The Great Danes dominated the third period, scoring all four goals of the quarter to trim their deficit to 10-9.
- After a two-hour lightning delay, the Seawolves held off the visitors and won the game, 12-10 to become America East Regular Season Champions.
