STONY BROOK, N.Y. – The Stony Brook men's cross country team once again impressed this weekend, winning the Wolfie Invitational on Saturday morning on their home cross country course. The Seawolves placed eight in the top-10 to run away with a 25-point victory.
Ronan Reaction
"I thought today was a good effort by the group of guys we had out there on the course. We were looking to get a good eight-kilometer effort in their legs and I felt we accomplished that. Certainly we have more work to do in order to achieve the goals we have set for the season, but today was a step in the right direction. A couple of the guys impressed me with the way they competed. Two in particular were
Vann Moffett and
Kyle Kelly. They showed their experience by the way they raced and competed. It was also nice to finish the home schedule with a win."
