All Stony Brook Home Lacrosse Games to Appear on Lax Sports Net

STONY BROOK, N.Y. — The Stony Brook men's and women's lacrosse teams will be well-represented on Lax Sports Network during the upcoming season.

The network will stream all Seawolves home games, beginning with Saturday's noon season-opener for the men against Sacred Heart at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium.

Both teams have been picked for first place in the America East preseason polls as voted on by the league's coaches. Additionally, the women are ranked sixth nationally.

 "The Stony Brook women's team is consistently part of the Memorial Day weekend conversation " Lax Sports Network chief operating officer Rob Wallace said. "Along with a surging men's team expecting to contend for a league title, LSN is excited to add games to the 2021 programming schedule providing lacrosse fans even more free access to top-tier lacrosse."

Both teams will continue to have games streamed on AmericaEast.TV as well.

LSN is the premiere digital sports network dedicated to lacrosse. The network celebrated its fith anniversary on Jan. 5. 

Now available in more than 40 countries, LSN produces and distributes collegiate, international, high school and club games for both men's and women's lacrosse. 

LSN's Lacrosse Now provides highlights of the best games, unique access and interviews with notable players, coaches and key stakeholders throughout the game.  An expanded edition airs every Thursday at 9 p.m.. 

"This partnership with LSN is fantastic news," Stony Brook women's lacrosse coach Joe Spallina said. "LSN has done such a great job of promoting the sport and telling the story of so many athletes and schools. I personally have had the opportunity to work closely with LSN through the MLL the NCAA, and their coverage of recruiting and high school lacrosse as well as this partnership is great."
