LOWELL, Mass. — Tyler Stephenson-Moore had a career day at UMass Lowell on Wednesday night but the rest of the Seawolves' offense sputtered as the Stony Brook men's basketball program fell in its final America East road contest of the year.
The Jamaica, N.Y., native had a career-high 20 points, making six of his nine attempts from outside. 17 of the 20 came in the second half but it was not enough as the rest of the squad made just one 3-pointer.
Tykei Greene came two rebounds away from a third consecutive double-double, finishing the day with 17 points and eight boards.
Stony Brook jumped out in front with the first basket, but the host River Hawks would score the next two buckets and lead the rest of the way.
