BOSTON — Tykei Greene and Anthony Roberts are among the league's best guards, and that was confirmed on Friday as both were named to the All-Conference Second Team.

Greene's efforts in the classroom were also rewarded as he was named to the All-Academic team as well.

A product of St. Bonaventure and Kent State, Roberts blossomed over the final month of the season to make his case. Leading the league in total points (477) and second in points per game (16.4), he is one of the most dynamic scoring guards in the league.

His prowess was displayed no better than at Maine on Feb. 13, when he dropped 40 on the Black Bears en route to the win, the most points in a game by a Seawolves player since Jameel Warney's 43 in 2016. Roberts hit 14-for-25 from the field and 9-of-12 from long range, also hauling in six rebounds and grabbing six assists. He is also one of three players nationally this season to have put up 40 points, five rebounds and five assists in a game.

Tykei's time to shine came over the final ten games, during which he averaged 20.6 points and nine rebounds per game. He also shot 57.6 percent from the field during that span and 51.5 percent from three.

He also recorded six double-doubles during that span, including four such performances in his last five appearances. Of the six total, four of them were 20-point, 10-rebound games for the Queens, N.Y., native. He finished the year with nine, tying him for fifth all-time in a single season by a Seawolves player, and currently has 14 for his career, moving him alone into fourth on the Stony Brook program career list.

Also earning All-Academic honors, the business major currently stands with a 3.52 GPA and was a member of the Fall 2020 Dean's List, as well as the Stony Brook Society of Distinguished Scholar-Athletes during that semester. He also was named to the America East Spring Honor Roll during the Spring 2021 academic segment.
