Kevin Mack Named America East Offensive Player of the Week Following Career Game at UMBC

BOSTON – After a career game in Stony Brook's come-from-behind win at UMBC, graduate attack Kevin Mack has been named the America East Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday. Mack led the Seawolves to victory as he recorded a career-high nine points he finished with a career-high six goals and three assists.
 
Mack's nine points and six goals were the most by a Stony Brook student-athlete this season. His goal scoring was evenly distributed over the course of the game. He scored three goals in the first half and three goals in the second half as he fueled the Seawolves' 12-1 run.
 
The graduate has registered 49 points as he has scored 25 goals and dished out 24 assists in 13 games. Mack is tied for second in the conference in points, is second in points per game (3.77), is sixth in goals scored, eighth in goals per game, second in assists, and first in assists per game (1.85).
 
Stony Brook is back in action for its 2022 season finale on Saturday, April 30, when it goes head-to-head with Vermont at LaValle Stadium at noon. The Seawolves will celebrate their 12 seniors prior to face-off against the Catamounts.
