NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Stony Brook University men's track and field team added a five more victories to their win column this weekend at the Yale Springtime Invitational in New Haven, Conn.

Miles Ryan took home a pair of wins in the 110 meter hurdles and the 400 meter hurdles. Ryan clocked in at 14.66 in the 100 meter hurdles and earned a personal best in the 400 meter hurdles with a final time of 55.38.

Conor Malanaphy and graduate
Matthew Cappock also earned a pair of victories. Malanaphy secured a first-place finish in the 1500 meter with a final time of 3:57.87 and Cappack won the 400 meter with a final time of 49.90.

Sebastian Ramos took care of business in the field events for Stony Brook earning a first-place finish in the javelin throw.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Ryan earned a first-place finish in the 110 and 400 meter hurdles with his final times of 14.66 and 55.38, respectively. Ryan also secured a new personal best in the 400 meter hurdles.
- Cappock secured a first-place finish in the 400 meter with a final time of 49.90. He also earned a fourth-place finish in the 400 meter with a final time of 22.04.
- Malanaphy won the 1500 meter with a final time of 3:57.87.
- Michael Fama and Thomas Burfeind rounded out the top five for the Seawolves in the 1500 meter earning fourth and fifth-place finishes, respectively. Fama also secured a new personal best with his final time of 4:04.27.
- Ramos earned a first-place finish in the javelin throw with a final mark of 46.22m.
- Joshua Titus crossed the line in 14.99 to earn a third-place finish in the 110 meter hurdles and 11.02 to secure a fourth-place finish in the 100 meter.
- Darnell Paul threw for 38.18m in the hammer throw to secure a third-place finish.
- Josias Luctamar clocked in at 11.21 which was good for a sixth-place finish in the 100 meter.

"Today was an opportunity to give some athletes that did not go to Penn a chance to race. Most of the group took advantage and performed very well. Some of the highlights were the efforts of Enyero (200/400), Miles(Hurdles), Matt(400), Tara , Rebecca, and Conor (1500)," said head coach Andrew Ronan.
