PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Stony Brook men's lacrosse graduates Kevin Mack and Jacob Williams have been selected to represent the North in the 2022 USILA Senior All-Star Game as announced by the organization. The Division I/II All-Star game will commence tonight, May 27, at 7:30 p.m., and stream live on the Lax Sports Network.
 
"We are excited for Jacob and Kevin to be selected to play in the USILA North/South All-Star Game. It's a great honor and fantastic way to end their collegiate careers," said Stony Brook head coach Anthony Gilardi.
 
Mack adds this latest accolade to his collection after being tabbed to the All-America East Second Team and All-Academic Team in his lone season at Stony Brook. The Manhasset native led the team in points with 53 as he recorded 27 goals and 26 assists in his return to Long Island.
 
He finished the season ranked fourth in the league in points, third in points per game (3.79), seventh in goals, eighth in goals per game (1.93), second in assists, and second in assists per game (1.86). Mack was tabbed the conference Offensive Player of the Week on April 25, after he tallied a career-high nine points (six goals, three assists) in the come-from-behind win at UMBC.
 
Williams had a standout season for the Seawolves as he anchored the defense. The graduate adds this honor to his resume after being named to the America East All-Academic Team at the conclusion of the regular season.
 
The defenseman started all 14 games for Stony Brook and picked up 31 ground balls. Williams caused 17 turnovers, which were the second-most on the team. He finished the season seventh in the league in caused turnovers and fifth in caused turnovers per game. Williams picked up a season-high six ground balls against Syracuse on March 19, and caused a season-best three turnovers on three separate occasions (Feb. 12 vs. Fairfield, Feb. 27 vs. LIU, Mar. 12 at Brown).
