QUOTES FROM THE SEAWOLVES
"I am proud of our team for locking in to get a midweek win during a time that is busy academically and it would be easy to be distracted. I thought while we weren't as crisp as we would've liked to be, we served well which kept FDU out of system and found ways to earn some gritty points. We have a quick turnaround to prepare for an important road trip to Hampton," said head coach
Kristin Belzung.
NEXT UP
Stony Brook heads to Virginia to take on Hampton University for two matches this weekend. The squad will play the Pirates on Saturday at 5:00 pm, followed by a matchup on Sunday at 1:00 pm. The Seawolves are 2-1 all-time against Hampton, as the squad swept the team from Virginia in both their meetings last season.
