David Miele-Estrella & Jonathan Huber Set to Represent Stony Brook in 2023 USILA Senior All-Star Game

RADNOR, Pa. – Stony Brook men's lacrosse graduates David Miele-Estrella & Jonathan Huber have been selected to play for the North team in the 2023 USILA Senior All-Star Game. The Division I/II All-Star game will be played on Friday, May 26, at 6:30 p.m., on the campus of Cabrini University.  
 
"We are really excited for Dave and Jonny to finish out their college careers playing in the prestigious USILA North/South game. They are two guys that love the game of lacrosse and are great representations of Stony Brook and everything that makes college athletics so great," said Stony Brook head coach Anthony Gilardi.
 
Miele-Estrella has appeared in 66 games for the Seawolves and picked up 118 ground balls and caused 28 turnovers over the course of his career. Prior to this season, he was named a team captain and played in all 16 games in 2023, picking up 25 ground balls, and causing five turnovers. He has picked up a season-high four ground balls on four occasions this season and caused a season-high three turnovers in the March 18 win at Hampton.
 
Huber came to Stony Brook following a standout undergraduate career at St. John's University. He started all 16 games this season for the Seawolves and tallied 41 points, 33 goals, and eight assists. He ranked second on the team in goals and he scored his 100th career goal in Stony Brook's 15-12 win over Scared Heart on February 26. He recorded five hat tricks this season including a season-high five goals on two occasions. Huber scored five goals at Drexel on April 8, and then scored five goals in the CAA semifinals win over Drexel on May 4.
