SPARKS, Md. - Stony Brook University men's lacrosse graduate Dylan Pallonetti was named USA Lacrosse Division I Preseason All-American Honorable Mention, as announced by the outlet on Wednesday morning.

A team captain and a three-time all-conference first team honoree, Pallonetti picks up preseason national recognition on USA Lacrosse's All-American list for the first time in his collegiate career. The Long Island product led the team in goals (51) and points (70), both of which were career high marks, a season ago and earned distinction as a USILA Scholar All-American and on the Tewaaraton Award Watch List.

Pallonetti enjoyed a 42-game scoring streak last season, the longest such streak in the nation. His 51 goals last season were tied with Kevin Crowley for the second-most in a single season in program history, only behind Brody Eastwood's 62 in 2015. His 70 points were fifth-most in a single season in program history. He finished second in the CAA and 10th in the NCAA in goals per game (3.19) and his 4.38 points per game was 24th in the nation. He finished with 11 multi-goal games and registered nine hat tricks in 2023.

Pallonetti and the Seawolves open up the 2024 season on the road at Sacred Heart on Sunday, February 4. Stony Brook hosts Rutgers in the 2024 home opener on Saturday, February 10 at noon at LaValle Stadium. Season tickets and single-game tickets are now available for the 2024 season.
