PRINCETON, N.J.- The Stony Brook men's cross country team continued its lead-up to championship season on Friday, competing at the Princeton Fall Classic.
The Seawolves finished 15th out of 22 schools. Individually, senior Steven Struk ran to Stony Brook's best performance at the Classic, finishing 76th in the 8K race with a 24:07.9 clocking. Struk's strong performances in the event marked a new career best in the 8K event.
Two more Seawolves recorded top-100 placements with Collin Gilstrap (91) and
Henry Gartner (98).
Michael Hawkes (107) 24:26.7 and
Ethan Green (124) 24:36.8 just missed out on top-100 placements, but both raced to new career bests in the 8K.
