STONY BROOK, N.Y. – Stony Brook Athletics will hold an introductory press conference for new head coach
Joy McCorvey, as Director of Athletics Shawn Heilbron will introduce McCorvey as Stony Brook's next women's basketball head coach on Friday, April 19 at 11 a.m., in the Goldstein Family Student-Athlete Development Center.
Friday's press conference is open to the public, and fans can enter through the Indoor Sports Complex lobby. The event will also be streamed on the
Stony Brook Athletics' YouTube Page.
One-on-one availability with Coach McCorvey will be available for members of the media immediately following the press conference.
McCorvey was named the 11th women's basketball head coach in program history on Monday and joins Stony Brook for her first career head coaching job after spending the past three seasons as an assistant coach at Tennessee.
