Women's Track & Field Competes at UConn, McLoughlin & Simonetti Earn Points

STORRS, Conn. – The Stony Brook University women's track and field program competed at the UConn Northeast Challenge on Saturday. A pair of Seawolves runners produced strong performances, earning points for Stony Brook in a crowded field.

HIGHLIGHTS
  • Fiona McLoughlin produced a personal-best performance (4:37.31) in the 1,500-meter, taking second place.
  • Olivia Simonetti earned points for the Seawolves in the mile, placing fifth with a time of 2:20.44.
NEXT UP
The Seawolves are slated to compete at both the Virginia Challenge, hosted by the University of Virginia, and the Mark Young Invitational, hosted by Yale. The Virginia Challenge begins on Friday, April 19 and concludes the following day. The Mark Young Invitational is a one-day event hosted on Saturday, April 20 in New Haven, Connecticut.
