PROVIDENCE, R.I. & PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Stony Brook women's track and field continued its busy April slate on Friday and Saturday, competing at the Friar Invitational and Rutgers Relays.
FRIAR INVITATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
- Grace Weigele earned a second-place finish in the mile run invite event. Her time of 4:47.56 also set a new PR.
- Shaylen Goslar finished behind her in fifth in the mile run invite (4:49.46).
RUTGERS RELAYS HIGHLIGHTS
- Sienna Bolasingh jumped her way to a third-place finish in the high jump, also setting a new PR in the process (1.65m).
- Niamh Durcan finished sixth in the 1,500-meter (4:46.39).
- Sarah Williams placed seventh in the 1,500 meters, setting a new PR with a time of 4:46.75.
- Alejandra Garcia ran to an eighth-place finish in the 1,500-meter, setting a new PR time of 4:46.75.
- Sophia Squires earned a new personal best in the 800-meter (2:16.45), helping her finish 10th overall in the event.
