STONY BROOK, N.Y. – Stony Brook women's basketball head coach Joy McCorvey announced the addition of Chloe Oliver (Guard, 5-9, Quebec, Canada) to the program. Oliver signed with Stony Brook on Monday.

The guard joins the Seawolves after appearing in 20 games during her freshman season at Davidson College. Before the Davidson season was shortened due to a significant number of injuries in 2024, Oliver helped the Wildcats to an 18-8 overall record that was highlighted by a win at No. 22 Duke on Nov. 16, 2023.

"We're thrilled to welcome Chloe to our Stony Brook family," McCorvey said. "Chloe is a scoring guard with a very high basketball IQ. She's also a great passer who will make others around her better and bring a toughness on both ends of the floor."

During her time in North Carolina, the guard amassed 47 points, 22 rebounds, and 13 assists in her 20 appearances for the Wildcats. The guard scored in 14 of the 20 games that she appeared in during the season, including a season-high seven points in a victory over George Mason. In her first collegiate game, she grabbed a season-high four rebounds and tallied six points against USC Upstate. The guard also tallied four points, three rebounds and a season-best three assists in a win over UMass.

Scholastically, Oliver played for Cegep Champlain in Canada. She led Champlain to its first Provincial Championship in March 2022, where she dropped 14 points and four assists as the Cavaliers earned a top seed at the 2022 CCAA nationals. She was also named a First Team All-Star and earned All-Canadian CCAA All-Star honors for her performances.
