QUOTES FROM THE SEAWOLVES
"We came out flat today and Northern Illinois is a disciplined and steady team who made us uncomfortable from the start," stated head coach Kristin Belzung postgame. "I didn't think we were able to get enough offensive production to get them out of rhythm throughout the match. We have a good week to train before getting back into Pritchard against Hofstra to open up CAA play next weekend."
NEXT UP
Stony Brook returns to the court next weekend as they host Hofstra for the Battle of Long Island inside Pritchard Gymnasium for their first home match of the season. The Seawolves are looking to continue their success against the Pride after a regular season finale sweep last year. The match is set to begin at 6:31 p.m. with coverage available on FloVolleyball.
