RICHMOND, Va. - Stony Brook women's soccer midfielder
Linn Beck was named the CAA Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
Beck scored three times in a pair of 3-1 victories for Stony Brook. Beck was credited with the game-winning goal in both of the Seawolves' come-from-behind victories. The Seawolves' midfielder scored the second of three goals in a span of nearly nine minutes to secure the win over Towson. The Frankfurt, Germany product followed up with a brace in the win over Drexel, sitting in a tie for the second-most in the CAA with eight goals.
Beck and the Seawolves enjoy a long layoff before returning to action next Sunday, October 12 at Northeastern. Stony Brook and Northeastern face-off in Massachusetts at 1 pm on FloCollege.
