Women’s Cross Country Records Best Placement Amongst CAA Teams At NCAA Northeast Regional

HOPKINTON, N.H. — Championship season continued for Stony Brook women's cross country on Friday morning as it competed at the 2025 NCAA Northeast Regional Championship in Hopkinton, New Hampshire. The Seawolves placed 21st out of 37 schools, the best finish among CAA teams at the regional.

Shaylen Goslar was the Seawolves' top performer at this year's regionals, finishing 43rd with a time of 20:53.2 in the 6K race.

Danielle Cirrito (129th), Amelie Guzman (152nd), Alexis Buskey (170th), Alejandra Garcia (188th), Sophia Squires (194th), and Sarah Williams (195th) rounded out Stony Brook's field of runners.
