LAST TIME OUT
- In a back-and-forth battle with No. 7/10 Villanova, the Seawolves ultimately fell, 30-27, in overtime on Saturday afternoon at Villanova Stadium.
- Reigning CAA Rookie of the Week Quinn Boyd made his fourth straight start, going 21-of-33 for 278 yards and a touchdown while adding 15 rushing yards.
- Dyshier Clary posted a career-high 4.5 tackles for loss—the most by any Seawolf this season—and added two sacks.
- Jayce Freeman continued his breakout year with a team-high 175 yards on six catches, including a 64-yard touchdown in the first quarter.
- Roland Dempster notched his third multi-touchdown performance in his last four games, rushing for two scores and finishing with 65 yards on 18 carries. He also added three receptions for 19 yards.
- Franco Milano, Khalid Bueno, and Josh Leath each recorded 0.5 sacks.
- Michael Mannino went a perfect 2-for-2 on field goals, including a 23-yarder to force overtime and a 44-yarder to give Stony Brook the lead in the extra frame.
- Stony Brook recorded the most sacks Villanova has allowed this season and tied the Wildcats' season high for tackles for loss allowed.
- The Seawolves set a new season high with 13 tackles for loss and matched their season high with four sacks.

- Stony Brook defeated Bryant 21-13 at LaValle Stadium on Oct. 5, 2013, in front of a homecoming crowd of 11,224. Lyle Negron threw two touchdowns, while Tyler Fredericks and Davante Wheeler scored their first career TDs.
- In their most recent meeting, Stony Brook edged Bryant 31-30 in overtime on Nov. 2, 2024. Dempster ran for two touchdowns, and the defense sealed the win with a goal-line stop on a two-point conversion.
- The Seawolves' largest win came in their first-ever matchup—a 30-0 shutout at LaValle Stadium in 2007.
- Stony Brook is 4-1 at home against the Bulldogs, winning in 2007, 2013, 2018, and 2019, with the lone loss coming in 2014.

ABOUT THE BULLDOGS
- Head coach Chris Merritt is in his seventh season leading the Bryant Bulldogs. The 1992 Indiana graduate holds a 28-44 career record at Bryant.
- The Bulldogs enter today's game ranked 12th in the CAA standings at 3-8 (1-6 CAA), with wins coming against UMass, Bentley, and Albany.
- Bryant brought in 64 new players this offseason, including 17 transfers.
- In their last outing, Bryant fell to UNH 42-14 in their home finale. Elijah Elliott rushed for 60 yards and two touchdowns, while Michael Otty tallied two TFLs. Ridge Docekal finished 16-of-30 for 136 yards and an interception.
- Quarterback Ridge Docekal, a transfer from Idaho, made the start against UNH, throwing for 136 yards and rushing for 36. Bryant has used three quarterbacks this season, including Brennan Myer and Jaden Keefner.
