Talcott Sets New Program Record, As Swim & Dive Wrap Up Competition At 2025 CAA Championships

HAMPTON, Va.- The Stony Brook swimming and diving team wrapped up competition at the 2025 CAA Championships on Saturday. A program record fell by the wayside for the second straight day as Aili Talcott set a new program record in the 200 breaststroke.

In the morning swim session, Talcott made history, showing out in the 200 breaststroke to set a new program record (2:20.28). Her record-setting swim broke her own record she set back in 2023.
   

Later in the day, during the finals session, Clara Armstrong placed 20th in the 1650-yard freestyle with a solid time of 17:44.37.

Talcott posted another strong swim in the 200 breaststroke consolations, finishing fifth after touching the wall at 2:20.91.

Hazel Alejos finished third in the 200-yard butterfly bonus finals (2:10.06).

Sara DiStefano placed fifth in the consolation finals with a solid score of 232.50.
