RICHMOND, Va. — Stony Brook men's lacrosse freshman Brendan Marino was named the CAA Rookie of the Week following a three-point performance in the Seawolves' come-from-behind victory over Monmouth on Saturday at LaValle Stadium.

Marino tallied three points, scoring twice and notching an assist in Stony Brook's 13-9 win over Monmouth. Marino added three ground balls in the victory. The weekly honor is Marino's second of the season.

Stony Brook returns to action on Saturday, April 19 at Drexel.
