STONY BROOK, N.Y. — The Stony Brook men's basketball team's conference opponents for the 2025-26 season were announced by the CAA on Tuesday.
Each team will play each other at least once as part of the 18-game conference schedule. There will be six repeat (home-and-away) opponents, three home-only opponents, and three away-only opponents to provide each team with nine home and nine road contests. Two of the six repeat opponents have been designated as "permanent opponents" to preserve regional rivalries and geographic ties. Stony Brook's permanent opponents are Hofstra and Northeastern, while its other repeat opponents this season will be Drexel, Hampton, Monmouth, and Towson.
All conference games will primarily be slated for a Thursday/Saturday schedule with some contests played on Mondays. Dates and times for the full schedule will be released at a later date.
