NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The Stony Brook women's lacrosse program was recognized for their academic success, earning IWLCA Academic Honor Squad after a combined 3.27 GPA. Six student-athletes were selected to the Academic Honor Roll after stellar performances on and off the field.
The coaches association honored 1,163 student-athletes from 124 institutions on the 2025 IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll recognizing juniors, seniors, or graduate students that have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
Stony Brook earned their third consecutive CAA Championship and 12
th straight NCAA Tournament berth following an 16-5 season, going undefeated in CAA play.
Avery Hines earned IWLCA All-American Second Team honors as
Charlotte Wilmoth,
Isabella Caporuscio, and
Alexandra Fusco joined Hines on the IWLCA Mid-Atlantic All-Region Team after leading the Seawolves to their eighth NCAA Second Round appearance in program history.
