Erik Pratt has been named the Met Basketball Writers Association Division I Men's Player of the Week. He previously won the award back on January 20.
Leading the way in a pair of important wins against Drexel and Hampton last week, Pratt totaled 55 points (27.5 ppg) on 51% shooting from the floor (18-for-35) with 14 rebounds, seven assists, and three steals. He showed the whole country what he is made of after dropping 21 points with eight rebounds and five assists vs. the Dragons in Monday's contest on CBS Sports Network. Then, on Thursday against the Pirates, he logged his third 30-point game of the season with 34 points to go along with his impressive shooting numbers: .733 FG% (11-for-15), 1.000 3-PT% (4-for-4), and .727 FT% (8-for-11).
Pratt will lead the way in the final road trip of the regular season this week, first when the Seawolves take on Monmouth on Thursday, followed by a short trip to Nassau County to take on rival Hofstra on Saturday.
