WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Stony Brook men's track and field competed at the Wake Forest Invitational on Thursday and Friday, with four members of the Seawolves roster posting noteworthy performances in North Carolina.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Caleb Gartner recorded the best finish for Stony Brook at the meet, finishing fourth overall in the 1,500-meter open with a solid time of 3:47.00.
- Peter Fogarty earned an eighth-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. His final time of 8:57.97 was the 85th-best time overall across Division I track & field this outdoor season thus far.
- Steven Struk placed 12th overall in the 5,000-meter invite, posting a season-best time of 14:18.27.
- Collin Gilstrap finished 13th in the 1,500-meter invite (3:50.38).
